The BD Venflon™ Pro Safety intravenous catheter is a sterile, latex-free, single-use device designed to ensure the safe and effective administration of medications and intravenous solutions. Manufactured using BD Vialon™—a radiopaque, hemocompatible polyurethane—it offers excellent tolerance and tip integrity, while reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis thanks to its ability to soften once inside the vein. It features an integrated safety mechanism that activates automatically upon needle withdrawal, fully covering the needle to prevent accidental needlestick injuries. This system provides visual and audible confirmation via a "click," ensuring correct activation.
