Exclusive formula.
This alginate is extraordinarily easy to mix due to its rapid water absorption.
By preserving the print properly, in a hermetically sealed bag, Hydrogum 5's unique formula allows it to maintain its dimensional stability for up to 5 days (120 hours) with a minimum dimensional variation of only -0.5%.
Hydrogum 5 Alginate is thixotropic and therefore non-drip. As with the rest of its alginate range, Zhermack offers for this product a 5 year warranty.

Hydrogum 5 alginate is scannable with structured light, blue structured light, blue laser and CBCT scanners without the use of opacifying powders. This facilitates access to digitisation processes and improves communication with the laboratory.
Its high elasticity allows the material to optimally return to its original shape.
Thanks to its high tear resistance, the risk of tearing when removing the impression from the patient's mouth is minimised.
