Nylon is indicated for use in closures of skin incisions, general cosmetic interventions, cardiovascular surgeries, dental surgeries, vascular anastomoses, tenorrhaphies, myorraphies and neuroraphies

Nylon is a non-absorbable material of synthetic origin that is obtained by extrusion of polyamide. This results in a monofilament with a smooth and uniform surface that is prepared by synthetic chemical processes, resulting in colorless threads or threads of black color. Nylon meets all USP / EP requirements for nonabsorbable surgical suture.
